Complex litigation and risk management are part of our everyday lives. The stakes have never been higher. Nationally in 2018 alone, there were more than 75 medical malpractice verdicts greater than $10 million; with five of those verdicts exceeding $50 million. The reality is this changing litigation marketplace has placed an emphasis on the importance of the economic evaluation and potential risk transfer for the high exposure claims. The founders of Life Care Analytics and its community of contributing professionals has an unprecedented level of experience in evaluating complex personal injury claims. In fact, Life Care Analytics was born from increased demand for the evaluation of how to quantify risk for high exposure medical malpractice and product liability claims. Furthermore, the founders of Life Care Analytics historically have been tasked with developing settlement strategies to help resolve substantial gaps in claim evaluation between plaintiff and defense. The resulting tools, reports, strategies and methodologies have been consolidated in Life Care Analytics.
